Long Term Neutron Activation in JET DD Operation

In the 2019 C38 Deuterium-Deuterium campaign at JET several different ITER-relevant materials and dosimetry foils were irradiated in a specially designed long-term irradiation station located inside vacuum vessel with purpose of testing activation ITER by fusion neutrons. The samples exposed to neutron fluence 1.9E14 n/cm 2 during discharges performed experimental over period 5 months. Gamma ray spectroscopy measurements on determine long-lived isotopes samples. Monte Carlo computational analysis was support experiment using measured yield time. this paper we focus that are used order measure local energy spectrum flux. chosen cover energies: thus Yttrium some Nickel Cobalt reactions Deuterium-Tritium fraction, while Scandium Iron for comparison computed activity measurements. obtained C/E values show reasonably good agreement between calculated activity, validating methodology providing basis future experiments campaign.
